Work in Progress Wednesday

I have not been quilting this week. Not one little bit. Instead I have been sewing. I think there is a big difference between the two. The first difference would be the fact that you use a different foot. The second would be that you have to remember if you are at 1/2, 1/4, 1/8 inch seam.  And then of course are you doing a top stitch, a button hole, a serger stitch. So many details to take into account. However, it is a lot of fun to accomplish a whole project in one night.

Pretty little Jewelry Pouch

I really like how big it is when you open it up. Just think about all the jewelry that could fit in there.

I also I made two pillowcases. I took standard store bought pillowcases and turned them into a customized pillowcases. I took pictures and will write a tutorial soon.

These are for Gramps. Over summer, I had made him this quilt for his birthday.
